X4 secrets to LinkedIn post perfection

New research has revealed what makes the ideal LinkedIn post.

The following tips come from studies conducted by marketing software firm Compendium:

  • Keep it short. 16 to 25 words for B2B posts, and 21 to 25 for B2Cs.
  • Don’t ask questions. They result in at least 25% fewer clicks on average.
  • Act excited. Exclamation points (when used in moderation) boost clicks by an average of at least 26%.
  • B2Bs should use hashtags, B2Cs shouldn’t. They boost clicks for B2Bs, but result in fewer clicks for B2Cs.
