Marketing/Customer Service Rule No. 1: No throwing customers through the store window or glass doors.
Unfortunately, an employee at the New China Wok in Chicago must’ve missed that day in training.
When a customer peeked inside her takeout bag, she noticed there was only one packet of sauce.
When the poor soul went to the counter and politely asked for more, she got more than she bargained for.
The man working pick up came around the counter blew a gasket — and tossed the customer through the store’s glass door.
The glass shattered, the customer severely injured her leg — and then contacted a lawyer.
In the lawsuit, she’s asking for $300,000 (plus damages) for six counts of battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
