He is right on target. I would add ” surround yourself with good people” and ” set your goals high”

I think he’s pretty much on target and I absolutely agree with John Brennan’s additions, especially concerning surrounding yourself with good people. That’s critical!
The one thing that I can’t help but contrast is how relatively unsuccessful Donald Trump’s personal life has been (relationships) versus how successful his business life has been. I guess it just shows where all of his focus has been and what’s really important to him. I think his business success has cost him in some very important areas…at least, in areas that would be important to me. Hopefully we can learn from him, but also maintain a little more balance in our life. To a lot of us, that balance is important. I guess the question becomes, just how much are we willing to sacrifice for monetary / business success? We all have to answer that question for ourselves. The tips for success still apply, it’s just all in how far you want to take them.

There are many, very happy, people out there who have applied his principles to their personal lives. But I don’t think they top the importance of “good People” and “High Goal” in your life.

I like the belive in yourself-if you dont, no one else will. You have to trust your own judgement, or you waver too much to make good decisions.
I really like “leadership is not a group effort-if your in charge, be in charge”
These are good. But I agree with RB, lousy personal life. Success in business is not sucess if you ruin your personal relationships.

Excellent…but nothing really new…most outstanding sales people know these rules and live by them…but thanks for the reminder!

We cannot forget the value of ethics. It is often left as an afterthought but that is a #1 value on my Top Ten.
