How far would you go to be the best in your industry? Business and marketing pro/author Kevin Daum has created the ultimate brand promotion — with the emphasis on brand.
He’s tattooed “New York Times Bestseller” on his chest, as motivation.
“There’s nothing else that allows me to walk in the door and say … ‘I’m one of the best marketers in the world’,” he said.
The inscription is written backwards, so it reads it normally when he looks at himself in the mirror.
That’s the definition of commitment, he says … something you see in the mirror every morning.
Kevin’s not a New York Times best-selling author (yet) — but he recently hit No. 1 on Amazon.com with his book, “Roar! And Get Heard in the Sales and Marketing Jungle.”
On his Web site you can check out more of his colorful, can-do self-promotion stunts — including an amusing video.
What’s the zaniest self-promoting stunt you’ve run across? Share it in the Comments Box below.
