Here’s how it works, and why it may be worth some consideration.

The mission of these sites is to hook up entrepreneurs and potential investors in Cyberspace.

Once you register with the site, you can post your firm’s financing needs.

Potential investors can search by industry, location, capital amount or keyword.

When someone’s interested, you’ll receive an e-mail alerting you.

No request is too big or too small. You can put the call out for financing less than $10,000 or more than $10 million.

It’s not strictly for startups either – existing businesses can post to find funds, too.
