I traveled to New York this summer. Would you believe it? There were bedbugs in my expensive Manhatten hotel room. I ended up carrying them home with me. Oh what a chore to clean up.

There's one I'd love to add to this list - the Ramada Inn on LakeShore in Chicago at that little convention center down there. Had to stay there a couple of times. One time I really just had to change rooms, someone appeared to have... let's say discharged... themselves over the cloth covered chair. They put me into their good room, nice size too - it was winter, and there were too choices - leave the window closed & the stink was so bad that you had to open the window, at which point it got so cold that you had to close it. Repeat the previous at infinitum. Disgusting, with the customer service to match.
