The best customer? A paying one, of course. But your odds of getting more of these increases if you’re selling to folks in these industries.

After years of a virtual lockdown on financing, banks are finally starting to loosen up … to certain industries. Those groups will now have a more ready access to cash, which means they can buy more from you, pay you on time, etc.

So which groups made the list?

You’ll be on the receiving end of some cash flow boosting benefits if you have customers in these industries:

  • high-tech firms
  • government contractors
  • IT biz services or Web design, and
  • accounting.

On the other hand, if the majority of your customers are in the following industries, you’ll have to wait a while longer for a turnaround. Banks are still skittish about lending to these groups just yet:

  • restaurants
  • retailers
  • construction, and
  • housing.
